About Us
New Quay National School (St. Colman’s) is a Catholic Primary School for boys and girls under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Galway. It is situated in New Quay, County Clare, in the heart of the Burren.
The school serves pupils from Junior Infants to Sixth Class, with two full time teachers, as well as a shared Learning Support teacher for children with special needs. An after school program is also available on site.
Additionally, New Quay National School is home to the Burren Preschool which provides an ECCE program for young children.
The school is well known for its strength in academics, while many students also excel in music, sport and art.
